I'll admit, my elo rating is pretty low(estimated around 1200-1400), but should I really be struggling to beat a level 5 Chess Titan when I could challenge a level 9 when I was younger? People have told me that the power of your computer has something to do with how well it plays, and my new computer is a lot better than the one I had when I was 11, but I find this pretty ridiculous. I am glad you brought that subject up, I was meaning to see if others have tried playing the great windows chess Titan. I constantly struggle to beat a level 5 on my computer, and if a level 9 is around 1400-1700, then it could be presumed that a level 5 is around the 1000 level. However, after this 4 year break, I feel like I've gotten a lot better at analyzing positions and such, but apparently I haven't gotten any better from that, in fact, it seems I got worse. When I was 11 alone, I was able to challenge a level 9, which apparently has an elo rating of about 1400-1700 according to some info I've found. When I was 11, I solely played Chess Titans because I didn't really know about and other resources. So I'm 15 now, and I've started to get back to Chess after a 4 year break. ![]() Before you say, "Chess Titans sucks", hear me out.
